What are Mindful Mondays?
The CACS Mindful Monday Series are carefully crafted conversations designed to share the importance of daily mindfulness  and calm approaches to work/life balance. Session may combine the practices with other activities. For example, mindfulness-based stress reduction activities that include mindful meditation, but also include discussion sessions and other strategies to help people apply what they have learned to stressful experiences.Â

A Healthcare & Public Policy Champion, Representative of the National Alliance of Mental Illness.
Why is this important to career development?
1. Mindfulness-based cognitive therapy integrates mindfulness practices with aspects of cognitive behavioral therapy.
2. Techniques can be used when dealing professional and personal experiences.
3. Provides a safe space for CACS members and guest to recharge, and learn positive ways to deal with stress and/or mentally prepare for the week ahead.Â
